Modem and ISDN Dialup Accounts

Tsoft offers the following accounts, and account options, for dialup modem (upto 56K via K56Flex or V.90) access to the Internet. For dedicated 24x7 modem and ISDN accounts, click here. If you don't see exactly what you're looking for, feel free to email or phone us and we can likely provide it for you. We have local dialup modem and ISDN numbers covering most of the bay area.

Personal PPP Account: $19.95/mo.

Try this account, or a PPP/Shell account absolutely FREE for two weeks! We're confident you'll find our services to be high quality, fast and reliable. We'd like for you to try our unmetered PPP service free of charge for two weeks. We won't even take your credit card info for this trial, so no worries you'll wind up in billing hell charged for a service you decide not to keep. After the first 11 days or so, we'll give you a call to see if you want to keep the account and if so, take your billing info then. If not, finish out your free period on us and the account will automatically terminate. Note that 'Spamming' isn't permitted at Tsoft, and doing so will result in immediate termination of this trial. Effective immediately, we require a home phone number for a free trial and we will verify your identity (due to abuse of this offer). If you want a more anonymous account, you can start a paid account with any mailing address and phone number you can be reached at (such as a work address or PO Box). We do not rent/sell/giveaway our mailing or phone list anyway.

(d) area code and first three digits of the phone number you'll be dialing in from (so we can provide the local access number)

Note: If you want to use your own CGI scripts, you'll need a PPP/Shell account instead.
Personal PPP/Shell Account (includes Web/FTP serving): $25.95/mo.

Notes: You may also telnet into your shell account from elsewhere on the Internet, or use our dialups with a terminal program rather than PPP.
Personal Shell Account (includes Web/FTP serving): $19.95/mo.

Notes: This is the account you want if you want to telnet-in from the Internet. We don't allow the use of TIA/Slirp, or the like with this account--we have regular PPP for that.

Family PPP Account: $29.95/mo.

Restrictions: this account is for the shared use of families, roommates, and other co-residents and may not be used by businesses. By default, you can only be dialed in on one modem at a time, but you may add one additional simultaneous login for a small fee.

ISDN
Charter ISDN Account: $39.95/mo.

Need an ISDN router?.

This account may be withdrawn from offering to new customers (including existing customers of Tsoft's other services) at any time, or offered at a higher rate to new customers in Tsoft's sole discretion.
Personal ISDN Account: $19.95/mo.

Need an ISDN router?.

Tsoft offers Arescom ISDN routers and terminal adapters. Arescom features a 3 year warranty, auto SPID detection, and one of the simplest GUI interface configurations in the industry. The following is the pricing schedule:

  Notes: POTS port is a "Plain Old Telephone Service" port and
    lets you plug in standard phones, fax, modems, etc. for use
    over an ISDN B-channel.

Prices shown are for credit-card monthly auto-charge.
Checks are accepted, however there's a $1/mo. surcharge for payment by check for monthly bills under $50; you may pay three months at a time by check to avoid the surcharge.
"Unmetered" accounts are for the use of one person only, and should only be left connected while actively being used. Additional POP boxes on "Personal" accounts are generally for sorting of mail, though it is acceptable for additional persons to dial in under the account to quickly pickup mail and disconnect--if you want surfing for multiple people, you should purchase additional PPP accounts instead (we can bill them on one bill). (The "Family" account is an exception, and surfing by other family members is acceptable).
All "Personal" accounts above may also be used by businesses despite the "Personal" titles, but we'll shortly be posting "Business" accounts which differ basically in bundling in more optional services. All terms and parameters of these accounts, both explicit and implied, are subject to change without notice prior to the account being implemented, and with reasonable notice (generally 30 days) after the account has been activated. Tsoft may, in its discretion, "grandfather" advantagious terms and/or pricing for an existing customer or group of customers.
